You may recall on February 8, 2010, Knovel convened a panel of sustainability experts in Santa Ana, California to discuss Sustainability and Its Impact on Design and Innovation, a topic of growing interest to engineers.

Sustainability initiatives continue to pick up steam and affect engineering companies across boundaries. As businesses attempt to balance sustainability’s environmental, social and economic demands, its impacts can be seen in areas from site selection and environmental factors through the development of discrete products and managing their complete life-cycles. Panelists, including Sustainable Minds CEO Terry Swack, discussing whether there is such a thing as a “green” product.
