As part of Knovel’s series of interviews with people of interest to engineers, earlier this week I spoke with Ken Wong of Kenneth Wong’s Virtual Desktop on Desktop Engineering.

Ken has been a regular contributor to the CAD industry press since 2000. He closely follows both the CAD industry and product lifecycle components. Many of you regularly read his articles and blog, so we thought you like a bit more of his insight.

In this interview, I ask Ken what inspired him to write about engineering, his thoughts on the role of social media in the engineering industry and what trends he sees developing today.
