The $125 Million Dow-Nation

  It’s officially prime time for chemical engineering majors. Dow Chemical Company just announced that it will pour 125 million into Chemical Engineering programs at 11 US Universities to garner top students currently entering faster growing fields, like biomedical engineering. According to a report by the Wall Street Journal, over the last decade biomedical engineering undergrads tripled at 3,670 per year, while undergrad degrees in chemical engineering remained flat.
