There is an excellent little café not far from where I work where some coworkers/friends and I like to have lunch from time to time. A few weeks ago, as luck would have it, I bumped into a older gentlemen whom I used to work with while I was working on the Space Shuttle contract.

A Russian physicist has been getting a lot of press over a paper he wrote on why he was innocent of running a stop sign.  At first I thought “What a clever idea!,” — then I realized it wasn’t very clever at all… unless you count the con job he pulled on the judge.
